We are now represented in China by Bloc. We are still represented everywhere else by our long time friends Giant Artists. In case you were wondering.
P.S. Thanks to Booooooom for showing some of our photos the other day. It’s a great site, check it out.

We just got the issue of The Wire we shotMadlib for and it looks incredible! We are super excited, one because we love The Wire, two because they chose so many photos to run full page, three because we never get cover shoots so that’s exciting in itself, and four because it was such an awesome day. Check out bad scans of the layout and larger photos after the jump… plus a bonus outtake I dug.
In other news we just photographed Mariachi El Bronx in downtown Los Angeles for some Australian magazines and general press. We also shot ex members of Panic at the Disco Ryan Ross & Jon Walker in the studio for their new project. It also looks like we’ll be spending the rest of the summer in NYC, more on that soon.
Oh, and that contest is ending any minute now.

We photographed Madlib for the current issue of The Wire. Four full pages, a half page, and a cover! Go buy a copy today in Europe, in a week or so in the US.

Was able to make it to the newsstand yesterday to flip thru the latest in the world of magazines and saw 2 of the ads we shot in Alabama in a ton of different magazines. Flippy flipping Co Stars.
Bigger versions after the jump.

We are back from a week of shooting Converse in Portland. I fall in love with that place more and more every visit. Here are some quick iPhone pics taken on down times, which there wasn’t much of.

We are throwing a free show with our good friends The Bronx and Trash Talk for a photo shoot on Sunday June 7th in downtown Los Angeles. It’s a real show, with two incredible bands… we’ll just be photographing some stuff during it. Plus Keith Morris will be DJ’ing between bands! It will make more sense if you come, but please do come. RSVP to [email protected]
Spread the word!

We shot Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo and Yo Gabba Gabba fame for The Wire last month (a magazine we’ve wanted to shoot for forever). He was one pretty damn cool guy. He drives a ’09 M3, he even made a special drawing for Eli! One pretty damn cool guy. Outtakes and bigger versions after the jump.

Claire and I (and team Day19) just spent a week in the deep south shooting some pictures. We’ve never really been to that part of the country before but I have to say it’s pretty great. It has similarities to Portland but with so many untouched locations it’s unbelievable. Spots that if they were in LA or NY would have been used on 50 album covers already. The negative, smokey bars! Man, my eyes were burning out of my skull. We had the most amazing team, an art director who knows us better than he probably wants to and a ridiculous amount of photos we are so proud of. None of which you will see here for obvious reasons. Here are some photos taken with our Ricoh GR2 mostly by our assistant Magda that we made sure no top secret information was leaked. So it’s mostly photos of us. We’ll show you the rest in 6 months or so.
