Our photo reps and close friends Giant Artists put out a book every year thats a collection of work from the whole roster. This year to celebrate the release and to celebrate the holidays we’re having a party and kick ass art show at THIS los angeles. Work from all the artists will be exhibited and the drinks will be flowing some come out for a night of good times. I think I’m DJing as well.

With a week or so off we have been going through the archives compiling some of our favorite photos we’ve shot in Los Angeles since we moved here 10 years ago for a soon to be released picture book. Our house was one that was always filled with bands and friends and bands of friends who needed a place to crash so there are a ton of stuff of this kind of stuff. Travis Shettel free solo show in the old backyard, 2004ish?. More soon I’m sure.
Our friends at Mistress invited us to show some work with some of our favorite artists/people. Spread the word and come meet my mom.
Here are some more of the advertising we recently did for K-Swiss. They made a total of 24 ads from 2 days of shooting around Venice and the Standard Hotel (the nightlife stuff has yet to be released) and it seemed like an overkill to put them all in our “Advertising” section, but here’s some more we are pretty stoked on.

Last month we shot an ad campaign for K-Swiss celebrating the company’s history in California culture with Adam & Co. that are floating around already. They made about 30 ads from the 2 days, more soon when that new website goes up.

This Polaroid was taken on our first day in Los Angeles 10 years ago. Probably the last time I was clean shaven. We shot a lot of Polaroids back then mostly because it was the cheapest way to make a photograph back then and we were piss broke. Found it looking for Polaroids for the new Day19. Days away.
