We did it.
We spoke at the Semi-Permanent event today and it was pretty amazing. Definitely felt like I was going to puke and pass out before we took the stage but after a bit I was fine. People even laughed and our stupidity! It was a great event and I suggest everyone taking part. Oh, and while in Melbourne we found the Kum Den.

I was in the audience today and you guys did great. You were mine and my friends favourite speakers of the show.
Never having seeing your work, it was a total and complete revelation. So great hearing about your adventures with such candid tone. Really admire your approach to your work and laid back attitude.
Hope you enjoy Melbourne. If its sunny, get a Jock’s Ice cream down Victoria Avenue in Albert Park and walk down to the beach.

You guys were great, easily the most interesting and inspiring speakers of the event! Quirky, fun, honest… loved every minute of it. Jeremy mentioned never having done any speaking gigs like that before, but you guys were naturals.
Needless to say, awesome photos! For some reason the orange guy with the cat stands out in my mind the most 🙂 I want that on a postcard!

Ditto everyone! Thanks guys for being so laid back about everything, with all the aloofy foo foo about design & creative industry it can all seem really daunting & unreachable for us uni kids… so to hear something fun, honest & goofy made everyone’s day I think. Also loved the photos and the story behind you guys. I can see myself in the 5th row somewhere…!
