We are moving studios soon and have a bunch of prints to get rid of. Follow us on Instagram (Jeremy’s is day19 and Claire’s is claireweiss). We’ll be shooting photos of the prints as we empty the flat files. First one to call dibs on Instagram gets it. That easy.

We’ll even personally sign them to you so one day they be worth like 12.50 on eBay.

Recently we lost a great friend of ours Mr. Justin Van Hoy and I’ve been trying to write something here for over a week but the emotions were making it too hard. He honestly is one of the most genuine, gentle, selfless humans beings we have ever met. We first met Justin and his wife Holly when a mutual friend Roger Gastman called us out of the blue saying a good friend of his who had battled cancer once before had just found out it had come back and that he was going to marry his fiancé Holly the next day so she could visit him in the hospital 24 hours a day because he had to start treatment right away. He asked if we could document their wedding and we of course said of course and we were instantly a part of their family. After beating leukemia again through a bone marrow transplant Justin and I had become good friends. Claire and I visited Australia in 2010 and came back fully energized to do something more than taking pictures and came up with the crazy idea of opening a gallery and both of said the only way we could do it would be if Justin (and our other great friend Aaron Farley) were involved. They both agreed and we embarked on what is known as THIS los angeles. Justin really became the heart and soul of THIS and had a special knack for bringing people together. He recently published an amazing book called Milk and Honey. A book he was so proud of that celebrates the work of contemporary artists making work in California. A book that he spent countless hours on and didn’t even include a photo of himself in. Thats how great Justin is. Our lame excuse for words will never do this man justice but this photo of him I think says a lot. Justin passed away not from Leukemia which he beat twice. We are honored to be your friend Justin.
