\nThis was the scene driving down the mountain from Big Bear yesterday. Three times we were stopped for a half an hour because a truck or car or both had slid off the road. We attempted to leave the day before but it was even worse with 2 feet of new snow, white out conditions and avalanches blocking the road. All of this 2 hours away from our sunny home in Los Angeles. Lots of photos after the jump, most of Eli learning to sled.

\nFirst time we were stopped for 45 minutes because of a tanker truck sliding off the road.

\nSecond time stopped because of a stuck U-Haul truck and another tanker stuck trying to go around him.
