This guy. What can you say about this guy? He is largely responsible for giving us our soundtrack to the summer. Evolution Summer 2007 some may say. Anyway, Brother Reade threw a picnic in the park so we could all celebrate the release of “Rap Music”. They had a proper record release show as well the night before here, but it was a bit too harsh Hollywood for us so we broke out after their incredible performance. It’s summer, so go outside and have a picnic/BBQ, and maybe “Rap Music” will be the soundtrack.

Nathan. Setting up the badminton.

Babel’s belting out her new favorite jam of the summer, “Hey! Hey! You! You! I don’t like your girlfriend!”

Smiliest man in Los Angeles goes to Estban Grande!

Babel: “No photos right now!” Claire: “Oh, but please”

Babel: “Ok, maybe a couple but I need a better pose”.

Another great thing about summertime, if you sit on a quarter while getting into your car you will instantly have a branding of the first president of the United States!

Apparently, thse guys had a gig in the park.

I won needlepoint for beginners because of my entry of Audio Two and Insted tapes into the “bring a tape contest”.

Gotta love this man.

At night time we went to a top secret Evolution Summer screening of 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s in a top secret backyard. It’s a documentary on gangs in New York in the late 70’s. Youtube clip hereso you can see the magic of it for yourself. Cali and Jessica were there and Cali did a far better documentation of the night on his wonderful picture blog. Happy middle of July.
